Took a long train ride from Johor Bahru heading to Dabong. The ride was really exhausted, took around few hours and we managed to arrive at Kampong Dabong. Overnight at cheap rented apartment, of course well spacious and clean too.
Rest well and recapture our energy, we had our breakfast at a coffee shop. Nasi (rice) and teh tarik (milk tea). Need heavy breakfast to kick start of the tedious mountain trekking.
Right after our breakfast, the tour guide drove us to the starting point.
While waiting for the rest of my friends to arrive, saw a cutie cat roaming around to welcome us. Look like Garfield! meow meow (*^ -^*)
Finally we began our trekking, right after a few distance, I started feeling unwell and vomited. Seems my breakfast had yet to digest. OMG! Fortunately friends helped and patiently waiting for my recovery! Thanks guys and gals! We started off the trek. ٩(-̮̮̃•̃)۶
We walked a few distance and we saw an incredible Stong waterfall! And the surrounding was cooling too! We were so excited and took some pictures.
After taking a little rest and enjoying the atmosphere, we carried on our trek. It was really challenging and enervated feelings. Took a break at the resting point. I was "sweat like a fish" so freaking drenched! wet wet wet with my own sweat! hahaha but extremely fun. During our trek we saw some species and snake.
Friends encouragements and support, finally we arrived Baha Camp! Not the peak but at least 305m high! The camp is situated near the edge of the 305m vertical drop of Stong waterfall. The scenery is beautiful.
Celebrating our victory! hip hip hurray ٩(-̮̮̃-̃)۶ |
We managed to "cool" ourselves down and cleaned our muddy trekking shoes! Washing up.
